We designed our award-winning Mountain Radio with climbers and backcountry skiers in mind, but they have proven popular for a wide range of activities, from camping and hiking to mountain biking. The compact design makes the radio a great choice for many human-powered activities where weight is a priority. We've been supporting adventurers in North America since 2019, and now we're excited to finally release a PMR446 version of the radio for our European community. 

The Mountain Radio EU transmits the maximum power legally allowed for PMR446 radios at 0.5 watts. We maintained the same compact, lightweight design (173g without leash) while still offering best-in-class range. 

The Mountain Radio EU has an IP56 waterproof rating (snowproof and splashproof), which will have you covered in light rain or wet spring skiing. If your activity requires greater waterproofing, we recommend you consider our Waterproof Hand Mic attachment, which is rated IP67 and is submersible to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
