Radio frequencies and wattage limitations are regulated differently from country to country. Our original Mountain Radio was developed for use in the United States and Canada and uses a set of frequencies that are not compatible with the Mountain Radio EU.

For most of Europe, PMR446 radios are the standard, which operate at a maximum of 0.5 watts in the 446 MHz range.
